Foam Roll Series

A foam roller is a common piece of equipment found in most PT offices and gyms. The roller is typically used to perform self-myofascial release, or self-massage. It can also be used for positioning during exericse and to promote improved posture. Our clinic often prescribes this "foam roll series" to assist with releasing the thoracic, or mid-back, paraspinals, stretching out the chest musculature, and promoting thoracic extension. Try these foam roll exercises out for yourself the next time you're at the gym!
